Description of Company:

Our main market is the photographing of children in pre-schools and related markets.
With experience going back to 1977 we help mums like you build your successful business in your area. We are very similar to a franchise but we give you lots and lots of freedom and probably the lowest joining fee in the UK. You will also be supported by our colleagues at our appointed laboratory so whether its photography, sales, marketing, administration, production etc, you will always be ‘in business for yourself, but never by yourself’ Our bespoke training at head office and the laboratory, will ensure you have the confidence and tools to offer a truly personal and professional service backed with unique and colourful products. All photographs are printed and packaged at the laboratory, giving you time to gain new business and look after your customers. Please remember, we do NOT make any ongoing fees or charge premiums on the laboratory’s standard ( public ) price list thus ensuring you even more profits.

Work Description:

Photographing children in playgroups and nurseries and similar markets. Running a customer database and gaining new clients via telephone, email, mail and personal visits.

Average hours per week:

20 which you can work around your children/family life. You do not need to do any photography in half terms or school holidays

Investment required:

£699 joining fee and approximately £2400 for a full portable studio. If you already own any equipment suitable for the work you will not have to buy new

Ongoing Financial Commitment:

NO further ongoing fixed, management or support fees. Our income is derived by a commission from the laboratory. You will of course have to make calls, send out mailshots etc

Earning Potential:

Conservative yr 7500, yr 2 12000, yr 3 17000.

Experience Required:

No previous photographic experience needed. You must be ambitious, confident, patient, bubbly, like meeting people, enjoy children and have a creative side. You must be determined to build your client base.

Training & Support:

Our training means you will not be overwhelmed by knobs and twiddly bits on cameras and lights ! We take you through very easy stages and keep things as simple as possible in all aspects of the business. We also ensure you are always confident with what you have learned before going to the next stage. You will also have further training and support at the laboratory. Our success is determined by your success so we are here at all times to help, guide, support and encourage you. You will also receive back up copies of all aspects of the business including arious administration and sales templates.

Car Required:

YES you will require the use of a reliable car

Storage Required:

The portable studio will easily store in a cupboard. We do recommend you set up an area in a room for a small office

Additional information:

You will need the use of a computer and have some basic skills in keeping a database, emails and image storage
